...slave or nigger jokes in front of black people.
...concentration camp jokes in front of jews.
...women jokes in front of women (personally, I heard men go "Hey, do you know what all that fat is called around the vagina? Woman! Hurhurhur. And hey, do you know what the most important body part of a woman is? The nose- so she can still breathe while sucking dicks! Hahahahaha!")
...molestation jokes in front of those that have gotten molested.
...rape jokes in front of those that have gotten raped.
(...etc etc you know what I mean.)
People that are heartless enough to do this anyway even EXPECT those people to take it with humor. And what do they do when they take it rather serious? They LAUGH at them.
Imagine, you've gotten raped. Then laughed at. Then you probably commit suicide, and SOME people would STILL laugh at you and make jokes about it (since there's probably jokes about suicide too), saying you don't have any sense of humor.
Please, people, have at least one tiny bit of understanding towards those that are different than you.
I mean, sure, jokes are often about something bad that has happened to someone else... but as soon as it's happened to you, you see how unfunny it really is, and how unfunny it is to be laughed at too.
That's why, please, be careful with what kinda jokes you tell to who. For you never know.
Thank you very much!

PS, I forgot this "joke" a male character just mentioned here to show off his sense of humor.
How many Feminists does it take to change a light bulb? Trick question, Feminism will never change anything.
Feminists did manage to give women the right to vote, have an own bank account, and make their driving license, not too long ago! But that's just a tiny example of what they "never have changed". Feminists have changed MUCH more than you think in the past. If it wasn't for the feminists, anyone female wouldn't even be allowed to go to school and get a job because they must stay at home and cook and watch the kids as they're "supposed to". In other words, men kept us stupid and it was actually forbidden for female people to have any good knowledge taught. For example, how to read and write.
Most probably, we weren't even allowed to choose who to marry. They chose us if they needed a birth machine to do the clean-ups in their house until we died.
We non-penis people weren't always allowed to live our own life like we mostly could today. In fact, men only let us make money as whores for thousands of years- for this job existed since money and men lust existed. It was the very first woman job ever, and it would never have been a job if TONS of customers wouldn't have come, which were also men.
There are still many cultures that say "two women are worth one man" today. So like, if you wanna report a crime as a woman, you have no chance to talk the men into believing you at all if the male criminal says he didn't do any harm. He's worth more than you, so he gets away with it and you have to go home cook and watch the kids alone- not expecting any help from any men. Hahaha.
Rant end.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
